Arley First Baptist Church Arley First Baptist is simply a group of people trying to live and love like Jesus. We are so thankful for your interest in Arley First Baptist Church.

We are located in the heart of the Smith Lake area of North Alabama. Arley First Baptist Church is one of those churches where you can go and immediately feel right at home. AFBC was established in 1888 and is still seeking to honor God through worship, evangelism, discipleship, and service. Our vision at Arley First Baptist Church is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ working is us and around us.

We believe that the Gospel of Jesus still has the power to save, heal, restore, and redeem. We invite you to come visit us whether you are a weekend visitor to the lake or a permanent resident in our area. We just know you will be like many others who leave saying, "There's just something different about that church." If we can assist you in any way please feel free to contact us at any time.
