A Thank You and an Update About Our Wales Mission This Summer

Church family,

I want to take a moment to say thank you.

This summer, Park Hill had the opportunity to be part of the work God is doing in Wales, especially alongside churches in Caerphilly County and specifically Gateway (our core partner). It was a beautiful reminder that when the Church comes together—across cities, counties, and even countries—God can do far more than any one church could do alone.

Over the summer, churches across Wales (not just our mission but many others through MLW) connected with around 50,000 people in seven counties. More than 400 Welsh volunteers served alongside about 70 Americans, and churches from both Wales and the U.S. joined together to share the love and hope of Jesus.

We are still waiting on final numbers, but we are already hearing cool stories: people who want to begin following Jesus, people whose faith has been renewed, and people who are stepping up to help lead and serve in their communities. We celebrate every one of those stories.

I’m thankful that we get to be part of this partnership. Your generosity, your prayers, and your willingness to send and support teams are making a real difference. Please keep praying for the churches in Wales—that the seeds planted this summer would take root, that new believers would be cared for, and that these churches would continue to reach their communities with the good news of Jesus.

Thank you for being a church that looks beyond our own walls and joins God in what He is doing around the world.
