In John 12:21, the text suggests that there were “some Greeks” who went to Jerusalem to worship. They would then approach Philip, one of the apostles, and say to him “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” This statement would ring in the ears of any self-professing believer today. We would love the opportunity to see Jesus merely. We can certainly understand, however, that Jesus has long since passed from this world almost two thousand years ago. Yet still, we can still have this request granted to us with Biblical validity.
Later in this passage, Jesus informs these Greeks in verse 26 that “if anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also.” As long as we take hold of our lives and place it in God’s hands, we can see Christ in us. Galatians is a letter that shows Paul’s conviction in the same respect. In Galatians 1:15, he states: “But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me”. And again, in Galatians 2:20: “I am crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” The progression we see here between “to” and “in” gives us a beautiful projection of what God does with His servants.
If you’re asking yourself, “Where is Jesus in this world, and how can I find him?” I encourage you to look inside yourself and see if there is a reflection upon the words and deeds of Christ.

The most fun you'll have in a hair net! We had a great time at Feed My Starving Children's mobile pack! The total for the second session was 27,000 meals. And for the entire weekend...106,000 meals! That is enough meals to feed 292 children for a year!!

If you get a chance, go by Huie Library on Henderson's campus and see Hassana Tadi's art show on display on the 2nd floor. She has some really neat pieces! Don't forget to sign the guest book to let her know you came!
