Wednesday morning the Red Cross will be processing the families that lost their homes in the apartment fire - helping them get into their next living situations. The Red Cross has asked us to make a list of all the businesses, community groups, and ministries that are collecting things for these families or willing to serve them in some way. We have a small list going already but want to make sure we don’t miss anyone. If you would like your business, community group, or ministry included on the list that will be given to the families, please put your group name, contact info, and services you’re providing in the comments or send us a message. If you want to help but need help determining what’s best or needed, also comment or send us a message, and we’ll try to help you figure it out. Once we have a list for the families, we will post for the community where different types of donations can be taken.

Please join us on March 14th from 9am - 2pm for a free Conference over the book of Revelation, hosted at FBC Arkadelphia! Dr. J. Scott Duvall, Fuller Professor of Biblical Studies at Ouachita Baptist University, will help attendees navigate a book that Christians tend to find confusing or intimidating with the hope of making it more approachable.

A GriefShare grief support group for people grieving the death of a loved one is starting soon. Please join us beginning February 23rd for our 13 weeks sessions held on Mondays from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at First Baptist Church, Arkadelphia in Room 114.

At GriefShare you’ll watch a weekly video with counsel and insights from respected grief experts and relatable personal stories—followed by a time of sharing and support. Session topics include what's normal in grief; how to handle difficult emotions; and what to do with regrets, questions, and worries.

Our regularly scheduled Wednesday night activities for children, teens, and choir are canceled.

We will have dinner at the church from 4:30 to 5:30 for any who are willing and able to attend. Please don't feel any obligation to attend, especially if it is not safe for you to do so. Use your best judgement.

Today we celebrated the second Sunday of Advent with our annual Hanging of the Green service and Christmas potluck. It’s always good to share in worship with our FBC family, but this day is always one of the best. Thank you to everyone who had a part in making today a wonderful worship experience.
