OUR NEW SERIES STARTING TOMORROW AT KIDZ PRAIZE!
Back-to-school season can bring a lot of excitement for our kids— but it can also bring worries, hard days, new situations, and some pretty big feelings.
For the next five Wednesday nights, our TSBC Kids will be hopping aboard the "STRUGGLE BUS"!
"Struggle Bus: Return to School Without the Anxiety" is a 5-week series that takes us through the story of Job and helps our TSBC Kids learn how they can trust God through the struggles and anxieties they may face.
Here’s where we’re headed:
WEEK 1: Facing the Unexpected
Job 1:1-3, 13-22
Sometimes things happen that we never expected. We’ll learn from Job that even when life changes or things don’t go our way, we can still trust and praise God.
Big Truth: I can praise God through the good times and the bad times.
WEEK 2: Staying Healthy
Job 2:1-10
Sometimes we get sick, feel down, or just don’t feel like ourselves. Job experienced incredible pain, but he knew his problems were never bigger than God.
Big Truth: I can remember God is bigger than my problems.
WEEK 3: Failing the Test
Job 11:1-6 & 12:10-18
Whether it’s an actual test at school or something else we’re afraid we might fail at, we don’t always have to have all the answers. We can do our best and leave the rest with God.
Big Truth: I can work my best and trust God for the rest.
WEEK 4: Bullies
Job 32:1-9 & 34:31-37
Other people may say things about us that hurt or simply aren’t true. We’ll learn that what God says about us matters most and that His love for us never changes.
Big Truth: I can trust God’s love and faithfulness to me.
WEEK 5: Is God Really There?
Job 38:1-7 & 42:1-16
There may be times when we wonder where God is or why He hasn’t answered the way we hoped. Job learned that God had been there all along—and we can trust His promise to never leave us.
Big Truth: I can rest easy knowing that God is really there.
