“The past two weeks at Fountain of Blessings have been so special. 💛🇿🇲

There’s nothing quite like being back in Zambia and spending my days with these incredible kids. From time in the classrooms to playing, laughing, learning, and simply being together, these are the moments that remind me why this work means so much.

I’m incredibly proud of our FoB family, our children, teachers, and staff who pour so much love into this center every single day. Seeing the children grow, dream, and become more confident each time I return is such a gift.

Here are a few of my favorite moments from the last two weeks. So many smiles, so much joy, and memories I’ll carry with me long after I leave. ❤️

🎓 Preparing for Life After Graduation! 💼✨

Several of our For the Love of Orphans students are preparing for an exciting milestone, graduating from college and trade programs over the next year! And we want to make sure they’re prepared for what comes next.

This week, our Director, Megan, spent time with these students teaching a class on how to find and secure a job after graduation. They talked about creating a professional CV, where and how to search for job opportunities, completing applications, preparing for interviews, and how to present themselves professionally to potential employers.

For us, education has never been just about paying school fees or helping a student earn a certificate or degree. It’s about helping them build a future. ❤️

Watching students we have supported for years reach this stage is incredibly special. They’ve worked hard, overcome so much, and are now preparing to step into careers that can change not only their own lives, but the lives of their families and communities.

We are so proud of them and excited to walk alongside them as they take these next big steps! 🇿🇲🎓

🎓❤️ Nelly is Off to University! ❤️🎓

We have some very exciting news to share about Nelly!

This November, Nelly will begin university where she will be studying Natural Science, taking another big step toward her dream of becoming a pharmacist one day. 💊📚

One of the sweetest moments was getting to sit down with Nelly and her mom and tell them that Nelly has received a For the Love of Orphans university scholarship! Seeing their excitement and gratitude made this moment incredibly special. ❤️

We have had the privilege of watching Nelly grow, work hard in school, and dream about her future. Now, because of the generosity of our supporters, she has the opportunity to continue her education and pursue that dream.

Nelly, we are so proud of you! We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. 🇿🇲🎓❤️

We are excited that Megan Elmore, our Executive Director is headed to the Orphan Care Center in Zambia, Africa! 🇿🇲 She will be greeting the children with love & hugs, checking on daily operations and working on a few projects! 💕 Please pray for her safe travels & wellness! 🙏

From providing guidance and encouragement to helping oversee education, meals, life skills programs, and daily care, the members at Mansa Fountain of Blessings play a vital role in creating a stable and supportive environment for the children they serve.

One opportunity can change the course of a life.

Through our College Scholarship Program, students who have grown up at Mansa Fountain of Blessings are now pursuing careers in nursing, education, clinical care, and skilled trades—paths that create long-term opportunity not only for themselves, but for their families and communities as well.

For $2,000, a student can attend college for an entire year, covering tuition, boarding, school supplies, transportation, and essential living expenses. It’s an investment that provides more than education. It creates stability, independence, and the opportunity to build a sustainable future.

As more students begin their college journeys, we continue to see the incredible impact that consistent support, encouragement, and opportunity can make possible.

Bupe is an 11-year-old with a joyful spirit, a love for learning, and dreams that reach far beyond the clouds.

Since becoming part of the Mansa Fountain of Blessings family, Bupe has received support through clothing, school shoes, education, and faith-based guidance. More importantly, she has found a community where she feels valued, encouraged, and cared for.

With consistent support and opportunity, children like Bupe are able to grow with confidence, dignity, and hope for the future.

Through the Tutorial Program, students receive focused, individualized academic support designed to strengthen understanding, build confidence, and help them reach their full potential in the classroom.

By creating additional opportunities for learning and encouragement, the program helps equip children with the tools they need not only for academic success, but for future opportunity as well.
