Doesn't a warm bowl of soup and sandwiches sound good about now? Well, on February 11, 2026, Melrose Global Methodist Church will be hosting the annual Soup Dinner fundraiser! From 4pm to 7pm. 3422 Argyle Road, Argyle Iowa (rural Keokuk). Freewill donation. Come and enjoy homemade chili, vegetable soup, potato soup and broccoli cheese soup with sandwiches and drinks. Top it all off with a selection from our homemade desserts! Enjoy a pleasant evening with a good meal and old & new friends! See you there!

Coming up - THE ICE CREAM SOCIAL! Mark your calendars for August 24, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Melrose Global Methodist Church. (3422 Argyle Road, rural Keokuk, Iowa). 18 flavors of home-made ice cream, a huge assortment of pies and cakes along with maid-rite sandwiches, chips, tea & lemonade! All for a freewill donation! Come to this long-standing event to eat some wonderful food and gather with friends, family & neighbors.

The Snickerdoodle Cookie fundraiser was this fall with the women of the church baking on November 1 - 3, 2023. It was a successful venture with proceeds to go towards improvements made to the church exterior. Thanks to all of the volunteers and customers!
