We have had some very productive ROME VBS workdays! Thank you to everyone who came and all those who are working on projects at home!

We are three weeks away from our journey to ROME and another workday is scheduled for Thursday June 11th & Saturday June 13th from 10 am -2 pm. Come and go as you can.

The Call of Matthew

9 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax-collection station, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he got up and followed him.

10 And as he sat at dinner[a] in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came and were sitting[b] with Jesus and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.”

Dear God, Help me to walk in forgiveness today, keeping it at the forefront of my heart. Remind me of the mercy You’ve shown me and that I have no right to withhold forgiveness from others. When bitterness or pride tries to rise up, help me to surrender it to You and respond with grace. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Help us to love patiently, speak kindly, and walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let forgiveness flow freely from us as a reflection of Your love.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The whole family is invited to join us for dinner (5:15 pm) & VBS (6-7:45) as we travel to ROME and learn from Paul and the Underground Church about God's love in a Holy Land Adventure!
God's word comes alive right before your eyes! In ROME, everyone gets to explore first-hand the culture of Biblical times customs, occupations, food, and games.
