As Union Hill Baptist Church continues to grow and expand ministry opportunities, we want to ensure that we are providing a safe and secure environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Over the coming weeks, we will be implementing background checks for all volunteers who work with children and youth, as well as background checks and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews for those who serve as drivers in our transportation ministry.
This is not being done because we distrust our people. Quite the opposite. It is simply part of being good stewards of the ministries God has entrusted to us. These steps help us protect our children, our volunteers, our church, and the families who place their trust in us.
Just as importantly, they help us demonstrate to visitors and our community that Union Hill Baptist Church is committed to providing a safe, responsible, and Christ-honoring ministry environment.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work through this process. If you are currently serving, or plan to serve, in one of these ministry areas, additional information will be provided soon.
