Did somebody say "BINGO"?

That's right! We are hosting a Bingo Night THIS Friday, June 5 at 7pm. Join us at 36 Ardmore Ave to help raise funds for our youth service trip taking place in August this year.

Four of our youth will be heading to Johnson City, Tennessee to work with Appalachia Service Project in home repair for those affected by flooding.

Invite your friends, bring cash or card, and let's have a great night! There will be a Bake Sale with homemade goods, as well as Philly Soft Pretzels, and some light refreshments.

This Sunday, May 31, we celebrate Trinity Sunday — and our final regular program Sunday of the spring season at St. Mary’s!

Join us for worship as we reflect on the beauty of creation in Genesis: from “Let there be light” to the fullness of God’s good creation. Trinity Sunday invites us to marvel at the mystery of God and the ways we are created to live in community, care, and connection.

It’s also our last Sunday with two worship services before we move to our summer schedule next week!

8:15 AM – Spoken Holy Eucharist
10:30 AM – Holy Eucharist with Hymns & Choir

Come worship with us as we close out the spring season together and step into summer in faith and fellowship.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Ardmore.

Located on Ardmore Avenue, a block off Lancaster Ave, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church was designed by prestigious architects Furness and Evans and constructed in 1887. In 1895, a laundry, also named St. Mary’s, was established by the parish to create jobs for women. The laundry continued for many decades.

St. Mary’s was founded in 1883 as a mission church of the Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr. For many years, St. Mary’s served mill workers in the Ardmore area. The mission prospered, and many members of the Church of the Redeemer became permanent members of St. Mary’s, alongside many working class members. Today, St. Mary’s continues its mission by welcoming a progressive community. St. Mary's strives to be an inclusive congregation and an LGBTQIA+ safe space.

The Ardmore Food Pantry is located at St. Mary’s, and serves anyone who is food insecure.

You are warmly invited to join us for worship on the Seventh Sunday of Easter, May 17, 2026.

We gather for Holy Eucharist at 8:15 the morning with a quiet spoken service, and again at 10:30 in the morning with hymns and choir.

This week’s Gospel from John reminds us of Jesus’ prayer that we may be one — united in faith, love, and God’s grace. Whether you are a longtime parishioner or visiting for the first time, there is a place for you here.

Come as you are. All are welcome.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Family Campus Clean-Up on April 25 in honor of Earth Day!

We began our morning with a brief prayer service by the fountain and then spent the rest of our time working together across campus—collecting litter, caring for our gardens, and planting vegetable and herb seeds that will help provide fresh produce for AFP this summer.

It was a meaningful morning of stewardship, service, and community. We are grateful for all who showed up with willing hands and generous hearts.

Thank you for helping care for our shared space and for making a lasting impact.

We are so excited to celebrate the Fifth Sunday of Easter AND Music and Arts Sunday on May 3, 2026! Join us for a joyful, spirit-filled morning of worship where music, art, and faith come alive in powerful and beautiful ways.

8:15 AM – Spoken Holy Eucharist
10:30 AM – All Ages Service with Choirs

This is a Sunday you won’t want to miss! Our worship will be overflowing with music and creativity—from the soaring words of Isaiah’s “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts,” to the heavenly chorus of Revelation, and the joyful call of Psalm 150: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”

At the 10:30 service, our choirs and musicians will lead us in stunning anthems, including a vibrant setting of Psalm 150 that lifts up all creation in praise. Expect a full celebration of sound, spirit, and artistry as we give thanks through music, voices, and instruments.

Come ready to sing, listen, and rejoice—this is worship at its most joyful and alive!
All are welcome!

The Bell Has Left the Building (Well, the Tower)

A quick update from St. Mary’s: on Wednesday, we officially took the church bell out of the tower.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of parishioner Barclay Fleming, who died last year, we are able to restore our beloved bell so it can ring clearly and safely for another century of worship, joy, and celebration.

This week it will head by truck to a restoration facility for about six months of careful work and renewal.

We’ll miss its voice in the meantime, but we look forward to welcoming it back—refreshed, restored, and ready to ring out over St. Mary’s once again.

Join us this Sunday at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church as we observe The Fourth Sunday of Easter and Refugee and Immigrant Sunday on April 26, 2026.

We gather in hope, compassion, and celebration as we honor the risen Christ and renew our call to welcome the stranger, support the vulnerable, and stand with our refugee and immigrant neighbors.

Worship schedule:
8:15 AM – Spoken Holy Eucharist
10:30 AM – Holy Eucharist with Hymns and Choir
All are invited to worship with us—please join us.

We are also proud to announce the official launch of the St. Mary’s HIAS Campaign in support of the HIAS PA Fund Drive 2026. From April 19 through May 3, we are joining together with HIAS Pennsylvania to help sustain a vital legal lifeline for immigrants in our region. Many immigrants—including children—navigate the immigration system without legal representation. HIAS PA’s legal team provides critical support, advocacy, and hope for those facing detention, removal, and the threat of family separation.

Your generosity can make a real difference.
