On Pentecost, we celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church by welcoming two babies into our community of faith through baptism.

God bless Henry and Ralph; welcome to our church family!

Last Saturday, a group from APC had the opportunity to tour the Presbyterian Historical Society!

We viewed their current exhibits and artifacts on display, toured the underground archives, and spent time in the reading room where staff pulled documents from our church for us to explore. We viewed the original church rolls from 1911 and documents about the building expansion in 1922. It was a meaningful glimpse into our shared history. Thank you to everyone at PHS for such a memorable visit!

April is National Donate Life Month—a time to honor donors, celebrate recipients, and raise awareness about the lifesaving impact of organ donation.

Last Sunday, we were grateful to hear from Arlinda Griffin, who shared her powerful story of receiving a life-saving transplant. Her journey is a moving reminder of the difference one decision can make. Arlinda also graced us with her incredible voice, singing a hymn that helped her get through the hard parts of her journey- "My Help Cometh from the Lord'.

💙 Take time to share your wishes with your loved ones—you could save a life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful lunch and discussion of our Lenten book, The Simple Faith of Mister Rogers: Spiritual Insights from the World’s Most Beloved Neighbor. The book explores Presbyterian Minister Fred Rogers’ deep Christian faith, marked by radical kindness, acceptance, and unconditional love.

We reflected on his honesty and authenticity in addressing serious topics with children, as well as his belief in the Holy Spirit’s ability to “translate” his work to meet each person’s needs, the power of forgiveness over evil, his care for the vulnerable, and his conviction that each person is uniquely loved by God—and called to love others in the same way.

Our mission partner, Ardmore Food Pantry needs our help re-stocking their shelves!

This past Monday, they served over 235 guests at AFP, and their supply is running low.

Urgent needs: cereal, pasta sauce, and condiments including BBQ sauce, mayo, salad dressing, mustard, and ketchup.

Donations can be dropped off at St. Mary's Episcopal Church at 36 Ardmore Ave. Learn about more ways to help on their post below.

Your support makes a real difference. Thank you for helping care for our neighbors.

Alleluia! What a joyful Easter morning we shared together. Our sanctuary was beautifully filled with lilies, and the music of our choir and brass quartet lifted our hearts in celebration of the resurrection. We are so grateful for all who joined us to worship, sing, and rejoice in the hope of Easter. Christ is risen!

🌿Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! 🌿

What a joyful Palm Sunday celebration! We welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem with waving palms and shouts of “Hosanna!” filling the sanctuary. Worship began at the back with the reading of Matthew 21:1–11, followed by a lively procession of our children and choirs making their way up the aisle.

It was a beautiful and spirited start to Holy Week!
