We had a great Service Sunday yesterday! In the garden, we harvested 23 pounds of beets and carrots, and also planted some radishes, onions, and more beets and carrots! In the kitchen we made 80 bagged lunches for our neighbors at the Life Center of Delaware County! Thanks to everyone who came out to serve--see you next month for another Service Sunday!

Romans can feel like a dense book of the Bible, but at its heart is good news for everyday life: God’s grace in Christ meets us where we are — in our weakness, our struggles, our hope, our freedom, and our life together.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Some days we carry more than we realize: responsibilities, grief, worry, exhaustion, uncertainty.

Jesus does not ask us to pretend we are fine. Jesus invites us to come as we are, with whatever we are carrying, and to find rest in God’s steady love.

May you know that rest today.
