Looking for something to give towards this year? Every December, we host our Family Food Box Giveaway because we know many children lose access to the meals they depend on each day, when schools are closed for winter break. Our heart is to make sure no family in our community has to worry about putting food on the table during the holiday season.
Our goal is to bless as many families as possible with a Food Box filled with enough groceries to provide meals for one to two weeks, depending on family size. These aren't just boxes filled with snack foods. We include fresh and practical items like ground beef, sandwich meat, milk, and other essentials that help families prepare real meals.
There are no income requirements or applications to receive a box. We simply ask that each family receive only one box, with a maximum of two families per vehicle, so we can serve as many people as possible.
Over the past two years, we've distributed 650–850 Food Boxes. Sadly, every year we run out, leaving approximately 15% of the families who come without a box.
With your support, we can change that.
Every dollar donated goes directly toward purchasing food and boxes. Your generosity will help ensure that more children and families experience the peace of knowing they have food on the table during the Christmas season.
