Description:
What does Jesus do when we struggle to believe?
Thomas is often remembered as “Doubting Thomas,” but his story is more than a warning about doubt. Thomas wanted something real. Rather than rejecting or humiliating him, Jesus met Thomas in his questions and invited him into deeper trust.
In John 20:24–29, we see that honest questions do not have to lead us away from Jesus. They can become part of the journey toward faith, trust, and the confession Thomas ultimately makes: “My Lord and my God.”
This message explores how we can bring our real questions to Christ, remain faithful when answers do not come quickly, and let our questions lead us toward deeper trust.

When Fear Locks the Door, Jesus Comes In | John 20:19–23
Fear has a way of shrinking our world. We become more careful, less trusting, and sometimes the things that once protected us begin to imprison us.
In John 20:19–23, the disciples are hiding behind locked doors when the risen Jesus comes and stands among them. His first words are not words of disappointment or condemnation.
“Peace be with you.”
In this message, Artie Farve explores how the peace of Christ meets us in our fear, how our wounds can remain part of our story without defining our future, and why we don’t have to become fearless before taking the next faithful step.
Jesus does not wait for frightened people to become fearless. He enters the places fear has closed, gives us His peace, and sends us into the world as we are becoming whole.
