Romans 12:12 "Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying."

The formula for enduring a trial is: Hope, Patience, and Persistent Prayer. Re-commit to your prayer life today, asking for the patience to wait for God’s perfect timing.

Psalm 30:5 "Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning."

Trials have an expiration date. God’s joy is the final word on our situation. Pray for a "morning perspective," looking forward to the joy God has promised.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others."

Our trials give us the "credentials" to comfort others in the future. Pray for someone else who is going through a trial similar to one you have survived.

Exodus 14:14 "The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm."
Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do in a trial is to be still and trust God's defense. Practice being "still" for 10 minutes today, refusing to try to solve your problem on your own.
