If you are looking for a great children's ministry to get your children involved with then you need to check out the Explorers Children's Ministry at Trindale Community Church. We launched the Explorers in October of 2016 and it has been incredible so far! We are excited about the new journey we are on with a new children's ministry and cannot wait to see how it continues to grow! This isn't just a girls ministry or a boys ministry. Explorers is open to boys and girls ranging from Toddlers through 5th grade. There are small groups within Explorers which are the Toddlers Group, 4 & 5 year old Group, Kindergarten Group, 1st & 2nd Grade Group, 3rd & 4th Grade Group, and the 5th Grade Group. The groups are made up of both boys and girls together. The curriculum is written in house and is centered around exploring God's word so that we can establish our roots in faith and cultivate our walk with God. Explorers connects with the visions and purposes of the other youth ministries at Trindale. Each youth ministry is a building block for the next one as we develop our youth. Every Explorers group studies the same lessons but each group will tailor the lesson to their specific group. At the end of the night all of the groups come together for a joint time of worship. A typical night will consist of the lesson, craft time that goes with lesson, and worship time. When they reach the 5th grade group we begin to prepare them for the next phase of youth ministry which is Infusion Youth. Explorers only runs through the 5th grade so once they reach the 6th grade they transition into Infusion Youth. We know that sometimes this can be a big step so throughout the year the 5th graders will do crossover events that are built to help them become familiar with the Infusion Youth setup which is also built on small groups based on grades. We want them to feel connected to Infusion Youth so when they move up it is a much smoother transition. Please contact us if you would like to know more!
