It was a great weeek of VBS. Most of the time we were able to be at the park, but the rain did force us inside one day. What a great bunch of kids we had show up to learn more about Jesus! Special thanks to Children’s Evangelism Fellowship for coming to town each day to help put on VBS and to all of our faithful locals for their assistance and providing snacks.

We realize there may be some confusion about joining the church. As we have had many changes in the last 4 years, we want everyone to attend a 30-40 minute meeting going over what it now means to be a member in the Arcadia Methodist Church. After attending a meeting, there is a simple form to fill out if you decide to proceed with membership. If you were unable to attend the classes we offered last week, but would still like to be a part of this Sunday the 28th Membership Service, please contact Bill Staab or Terina Wortman as they will coordinating more meeting times this week. We will also be offering additional meetings and Membership services multiple times in the future if this week just doesn't work for you. If you have special circumstances, just let us know if you are interested. It is not our intention to leave anyone out who would like to join.

Just a reminder that your last chance to attend the Mandatory Membership Class is the Sunday 6/21/26 during church services. Membership Sunday to join the church will be 6/28/26. Please contact a Leadership Team member if you are unable to attend at this time. If for some reason this letter did not make it to you, we wanted everyone who may be interested to know that as an Independent Methodist church, we are moving forward. Part of that process is becoming members of our local and loved Arcadia Methodist Church. Kentucky Mission Team - Wed/Thur Update-

The weather has cooperated the last few days, and they have made great progress on quite a few projects! 🙏🏼🙌🏻 However, they said perhaps we prayed a little too hard for sunshine as it got really hot on the roof yesterday!

Completed projects:
- Shed painting done
- Yard cleanup done
- New house cleaning done
- Ramp nearly finished
- Laminate flooring done

Continued progress:
Roofing - sheeting completed and started on new metal roof

Floor replacement - footings poured & great progress on floor joists

Second flooring house - laid & finished laminate vinyl plank flooring and started on vinyl siding

Started a deck demo and rebuild

As they head into their last work day, pray for strength and energy to complete their projects after a long hard week, to further build relationships with the homeowners and local residents as they spread Jesus’ love and blessings to those around them and to travel safely home again. 🙏🏼❤️✝️
