The Vajrasattva One Hundred-Thousand Tsok Offering Grand Puja will take place over two days, June 20 Saturday and June 21 Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. This is a rare opportunity to purify negative karma and accumulate merit. All devotees are warmly welcome to attend and practice for the benefit of beings.
This Vajrasattva One Hundred-Thousand Tsok Offering Grand Puja is seldom held and is especially precious and rare. Students may participate by offering sponsorship for the tsok. Any donation amount is welcome —the emphasis is on participation. Through this, one can accumulate merit and virtue. Sponsorship details will be registered together with online registration, or go to RinchenCholing.org/Donation to sponsor the event.
Lunch Box: A vegetarian lunch box will be pre-ordered at $20 each. Those interested, please place your order when registering online.

🌕 Two-Day Nyungne Retreat at Rinchen Choling
May 30–31, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday)
Saga Dawa 14th & 15th (Tibetan Calendar) – Full Moon Days
Join us at Rinchen Choling for a special two-day Nyungne Retreat, coinciding with the sacred full moon days of Saga Dawa, one of the most important times in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar. This is a powerful opportunity to deepen your compassion practice and accumulate vast merit.

🧘‍♀️ About Nyungne
Nyungne is a fasting and prayer retreat devoted to Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion. It purifies negative karma, accumulates merit, and opens the path to rebirth in Sukhavati (Dewachen). There are many benefits in practicing Nyungne including closing the door to three lower realms. If people do Nyungne 8 times, they can take rebirth in Sukhavati (Dewachen)!
We will be observing noble silence during the retreat.
Participants can choose between two levels of vows:
1. Nyungne Vow
• Day 1: Water and lunch allowed; no dinner.
• Day 2: Complete fasting (no food no water).
• Day 3 Morning Session: Concludes with personal morning session at home. Then allowed eat and drink.
2. Nyine Vow
• Day 1: Water and lunch allowed both days; no dinner.
• Day 2: Water and lunch allowed both days; no dinner.
• This option is less strict but still highly beneficial.

🧘‍♀️ 關於 Nyungne 禁食閉關
Nyungne 是一種專修觀音菩薩的祈禱與禁食閉關，能夠淨除業障、累積功德、開啟往生極樂世界（Dewachen）的道路。持守八關齋戒功德可以關閉進入三惡道之門, 並且圓滿八次閉關可以種下投生淨土的因。 此次閉關期間將實施禁語, 敬請配合。
參加者可根據自身狀況選擇以下兩種持戒方式之一：
1. Nyungne 紐涅戒(較嚴格)
• 第一天：可飲水與食用午餐，晚上禁食。
• 第二天：全日禁食與禁水（完全禁食）。
• 第三天上午：閉關於第3天早上在家自行完成早課後結束，之後才可進食與飲水。
2. Nyine 林涅戒(較寬鬆)
• 第一天：可飲水與食用午餐，但晚上禁食。
• 第二天：可飲水與食用午餐，但晚上禁食。
• 此方式較為寬鬆，亦具有極大功德利益。

Buddha’s Birthday Ceremony – Grand Buddha Thangka Display

According to traditional Tibetan customs, on the day of Buddha’s birthday, Tibetan monasteries specially display Buddha Thangkas for offering and recite aspiration prayers. This is regarded as a precious opportunity to accumulate merit and wisdom, and to eliminate negative karma and obstacles.

This year, for the Buddha’s Birthday Ceremony, we will hold an outdoor grand Buddha Thangka display, chant aspiration prayers, and conduct the Bathing the Buddha ceremony. We hope everyone will cherish this precious opportunity and participate enthusiastically.

Please note: This Dharma assembly is an outdoor event. Participants are advised to take sun protection measures such as wearing hats, sun-protective clothing, and applying sunscreen.
