Verse: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16
So often, we hesitate to come to God. We feel unworthy, ashamed, or unsure if He really wants to hear from us. But this verse paints a completely different picture—God invites us to come to Him boldly, not fearfully.
Because of Jesus, we don’t have to stand at a distance. We don’t have to clean ourselves up first or have the perfect words to say. We can come just as we are—broken, tired, uncertain—and meet a God who responds with mercy, not judgment, and grace, not rejection.
Whatever you’re facing today, you don’t have to carry it alone. God’s throne is not a place of condemnation for His children—it’s a place of help. And not just occasionally, but right on time, exactly when you need it most.
So today, come boldly. Bring your worries, your fears, your needs. There is grace waiting for you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for inviting me to come to You with confidence. Help me to remember that I am always welcome in Your presence. Fill me with Your mercy and grace, and meet me in every need I have today. Amen
