房角石华人教会是一间以中国大陆事工为主体，由中国大陆新移民为主要成员的华人教会。
房角石教会始于赵庆年牧师的家庭聚会，1994 年在美国加利福尼亚州注册, 定名为 "房角石华人教会" Capstone Chinese Church。后因聚会人数渐增，教会申请加入了美国长老教会，成为圣盖博区会的一个团契事工，并开始于阿凯迪亚的乡村长老教会聚会。不幸，教会于2001年发生分裂，一部分仍留在原地，赵庆年牧师则在区会的安排下，带领一部分会众在阿凯迪亚长老教会(Arcadia Presbyterian Church)聚会。区会安排的顾问牧师, 长老教会退休牧师白辅德(Rev. Blanford)也一同前往，协助事奉。
鉴于教会当时的情况和本地福音事工发展的需要，教会于2002年1月接纳当时在台福神学院就读的黄志宏弟兄参与事奉，并于2003年7月，在赵庆年牧师退休之后，聘黄志宏弟兄为全职传道。
2004年1月，阿凯迪亚长老教会按立黄志宏弟兄为教会长老。
房角石华人教会的生存和发展，得到了区会和阿凯迪亚长老教会的极大扶持。2008 年3月，经过区会的考察，并申报全国总会， 美国长老教会将房角石教会纳入新教会发展计划，成为该宗派历史上的第一间国语教会，并于当年5月按立黄志宏长老为牧师。随着教会发展的空间需要，房角石教会也于2008年10月，迁回乡村长老教会，开始了教会成长的新里程。
房角石华人教会犹如一个刚刚降生的婴儿，走过艰难的生存、稳定和成长的岁月。教会不大，但神的祝福不小。聚会人数从 2002 年初的十几个人，到今天的五、六十人，从当初的月平均奉献不足$800元，到今天的月平均奉献$5000元，每年都有许多从中国大陆来的骨肉乡亲在我们当中信主受洗，其中看到的是神丰丰富富的预备和弟兄姊妹在主恩典里的长进。诚然，这个具有鲜明中国大陆文化特色的新教会，在北美的土地上，有很长的路要走，有更多的试炼要经历，但神所开始的工，必蒙神的看顾和成就。
愿有志于中国大陆事工的主内肢体，不嫌弃我们这群尚不懂事的孩子，多多伸出援手来帮助我们，使更多“生在新社会，长在红旗下”的迷途羔羊，因你们的摆上而蒙恩成长。

Capstone Chinese Church is a church emphasizing and targeting its work primarily on Mainland Chinese people. In 1994 they registered the church with the State of California as Capstone Chinese Church. Gradually the church grew beyond the capacity of the Chao's home, and they contacted the Presbyterian Church for a place to worship. At first they worshipped at Village Presbyterian Church in Arcadia, but unfortunately there was a split in the church, with some of the people remaining at Village, and other part moved to Arcadia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. The Presbytery also introduced the Rev. Carl Blanford, retired missionaries of the Presbyterian Church USA, to become advisors for the new church. In January 2002 Pastors Chao and Blanford approached Logos Seminary for a student intern to help with the growing ministry of the church. The Seminary assigned Bob Huang to this position. In July 2003, Rev. Chao retired because of poor health, and the church invited Bob Huang to be the pastor. In January 2004 Bob was ordained as an elder in the Arcadia Presbyterian Church, and served in this position until May 2008. The survival and growth of Capstone Chinese Church was due to the support of San Gabriel Presbytery and Arcadia Presbyterian Church. In May 2006, Bob obtained the Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary (Southern California). In March 2008 the church was accepted by the Presbytery and the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA as a new church development. This is the first Mandarin Chinese Church to be established in the United States under the auspices of the General Assembly. On May 25, 2008, the Presbytery ordained Bob Huang as a minister of the Word and Sacrament, and designated him as pastor of Capstone Chinese Church. Because of a need for a larger space for worship and service, the church moved back to Village Presbyterian Church in Arcadia in October 2008. This was the beginning of a new stage of development in the church. The Capstone Chinese Church is like a new-born babe, going through a difficult existence, struggling for stability. The church is small, but the blessing of God is great. At the beginning of 2002, the number attending worship services was between 10 and 20. Today, we average 50 to 60 people. In 2002 the monthly offering was $800, today it is $5,000. Every year there are adult baptisms of new immigrants from China, We have witnessed the abundant blessings of God and the love and spiritual growth of the members. Surely, this new church of people, molded by the fresh culture of Mainland China, now living in southern California, still has a long journey ahead of them, with many difficulties to overcome. But this work begun by God will certainly continue to have God's presence and fulfillment. May those who belong to the body of Christ and who are called and burdened to help this immature child to grow, please extend your hands to help us.
