Desires to be a force of good in the community, to do Da'wah, and establish once again a Masjid to replace the one that was lost in Arcadia back around 2016. These efforts all began to coalesce under the umbrella of Jamaa’aatul Asr, an organisation that had existed in the 1980s in Baltimore, but now will reestablish itself in Arcadia, Florida 40s later. As of the end of 2021, efforts to establish

a masjid continue. In the coming years, we hope to have efforts in Da’wah to Islam grow, and for a revenue stream to be created to help get the resources needed to build a Masjid and improve the Southwest Florida communities as a whole.

With great sadness, we forward the news of the passing of IJAN's Amir, Bilal Sunni-Ali. May Allah enter him into the highest jannah and count him Amongst the martyrs. Janazah will be on January 2nd. More information to come.
