Sisters in Christ Mini Retreat — Fill My Cup, Lord
What a sweet and refreshing time we had together at our Sisters in Christ Mini Retreat! Surrounded by fellowship, laughter, delicious food, encouragement, and God's Word, we were reminded of the importance of allowing the Lord to fill our cups.
Thank you to all the ladies who worked behind the scenes to make this day so special. From preparing and planning, decorating, preparing food, serving, and cleaning up afterward—your time, love, and willingness to serve helped make this retreat possible. We are so thankful for each of you!
A very special and heartfelt thank you to Emily Mayes for saying yes to being our speaker and for her willingness to share what God laid on her heart to share with us. Your words were a blessing and encouragement to so many. We are blessed to have you as a part of our church family at Pine Hill.
One beautiful reminder from our time together is that every spiritual gift is important and equal in the eyes of God. We each have a unique purpose and gift that God can use for His glory. Allow God to fill your cup with the spiritual gifts He has given you, and as your cup becomes full, the blessings will begin to slosh out onto the people around you!
May we never compare our gifts to someone else's, but instead use what God has placed within us to love, serve, encourage, and bless others.
We pray every lady left feeling refreshed, encouraged, loved, and reminded to keep lifting her cup to the Lord.
