First Steps

A class for children (K- 5th grade) who are asking questions about salvation. We will walk through what salvation means, make sure we understand each step, and all the big words.
This class is a great first step to help parents ensure their children are ready when the Holy Spirit leads.
Children will bring home a resource to help them continue learning after the class. Drop-off and pick-up downstairs as usual. Registration is required.

We are growing! We’ve added classes at all 3 hours on our preschool hall - and we have some ministry opportunities available!!

9:30am - 2 year old class - weekly -3 spots
10:45am - Preschool desk
10:45am - Children’s upstairs desk
10:45am -5th grade boys helper
10:45am - Special Friends Helper

"Your daily time in Scripture can open your eyes to a biblical principle that can be applied to a problem, to a verse that can enlighten a discussion, to biblical wisdom that will guide discipline or correction, to a passage that can be a prayer for a family need, or to a scripture about God’s protection for a frightened child at bedtime.

There is no plan or schedule or resource that can provide this kind of nurture. It involves you spending time with God and His Word, and then simply letting your children see in your life the truth of Psalm 119:105, that 'Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,' and the reality of Hebrews 4:12, that 'the word of God is living and active.'"

Confidence doesn’t usually come first. That’s the part so many kids, and honestly, so many parents miss. We wait to feel confident before we try. But confidence is usually built AFTER the trying. After the practice. After the mistakes. After the learning.

That’s true for reading.
Friendships.
Sports.
School.
Sleeping away from home.
Parenting.
All of it.

Our kids don’t need to be the best. They need permission to keep practicing. And maybe we do, too.

This week in our Capable Summer Challenge, we’re helping families remember: Capability grows in the doing.

Not perfection.
Practice.

Not pressure.
Progress.
