I would like to invite you to join me for The Hope Initiative, a 30-day journey beginning June 7. Together, we will learn what it means to be Great Commission Christians by becoming more intentional in sharing the hope of Christ with our neighbors, friends, and community.

Humanity is searching for life in everything except the One who gives life. But Jesus Christ came so that dead sinners could be made alive again through the Holy Spirit.

Today we celebrated Ascension Sunday with a message titled “He Sat Down” from Hebrews 1:1–4 and Acts 1:6–11.

The Ascension of Jesus is often overlooked, but it is central to understanding who Christ is and what He is doing right now.

What does it mean that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father? And how does His ascension shape the way we understand His authority, His work, and His ongoing presence with His people?

We also considered what it means for the church to live and witness in the power of the Holy Spirit in light of Christ’s ascension.
