This weekend, there will be no scheduled services or prayer, and we want to encourage you to receive this time as a gift.
Rest. Slow down. Spend time with the people you love. Sit a little longer over your morning coffee. Enjoy your family. Get outside. Laugh together. And most of all, make room for the quiet presence of Jesus.
Ministry is important. Gathering together is important. But so is rest. Even Jesus told His disciples, “Come ye yourselves apart… and rest a while.” — Mark 6:31
We pray this weekend brings refreshing to your body, your mind, your family, and your spirit. May you return rested, encouraged, and ready for all that God has ahead for us.
