Today we pause to remember. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. It is a day to honor the men and women who gave everything so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today. That kind of sacrifice deserves both our gratitude and our remembrance.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

Jesus spoke these words about Himself, but today we also reflect on the countless men and women throughout history who demonstrated that same kind of selfless love. They left behind families, comfort, and future plans so others could live in freedom.

As people of faith, we often speak about sacrifice because we serve a Savior who gave His life so we could truly live. And on a day like today, we are reminded that freedom — both spiritual and natural — always comes at a cost. Someone paid it so we would not have to.

This Memorial Day, we honor our fallen heroes and pray for the families they left behind. May we never take their sacrifice for granted.

We are looking forward to service this Sunday where United we will worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. 🙏
We will have the special visit of Brother Brandon Clark sharing the Word. He is a great blessing to our Community in his service through our local law enforcement as well as his support of our FCA program at our
High school.
We know the Lord has a special word for each of our lives and we invite you to come and join us for this special time!

Thanking God for the initiative led by our youth ministry to reach to our local nursing home and visit with and pray with the residents last Sunday.
We are thankful for the wonderful staff at the nursing home for opening their doors to us.
We were so blessed by each tender smile and every prayer petition & testimony shared. We pray the Lord’s covering and blessing over every precious life present in Jesus name.

Twenty-one days. One global Church. One mission.

This Monday morning, January 5, the Church of God of Prophecy begins 21 Days of Prayer, and you’re invited to join our family around the world as we pray and live On Mission.

This year, our prayers are focused on open doors for the gospel, open hearts to receive His love, and open opportunities to serve with compassion. Just as Paul prayed, “that God may open a door for our message” (Colossians four, three), we are asking the Lord to open doors in our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities.

Week One begins with "Open Doors: Reaching Those Near Us." Together we will pray for our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and loved ones. We’ll ask God to show us where He is already at work and how we can step into those moments with His love and truth.

Whether you pray alone, with your family, or with your church, these next twenty-one days are an opportunity to realign our hearts with God’s mission—to see people as Jesus sees them, be moved with compassion, and respond in faith.

Let’s pray together. Let’s believe together. And let’s go where God opens the door.
