"Sometimes in this world, we have an illusion of control. We like to think that we can control what is happening in our own life and that this world is a stable place. But then we get these reminders that we do not have the kind of control we thought we did, and this world is very unpredictable. That realization can be very unsettling. The shift happens when we remember that while we do not have control, we have a God who does have control.
