Join us online or in-person in Hawaii on May 17th and 24th for a two-part seminar: Making Sense Out of Discernment.

On May 24th, the second Sunday of this seminar, Paul L. Cox will teach on the Spiritual Servants of the Most High God, a topic he last taught in 2012. This teaching provides a biblical foundation for a list of over 20 spiritual beings.

By understanding this information, we can more readily understand what God reveals through His spiritual gifts, including the gift of Discernment.

Today I started a new series called Sketches of a Skeptic – From Doubt to Belief. You can read the first installment here: https://aslansplace.substack.com/p/read-sketches-of-a-skeptic-by-paul

The purpose of these articles is to affirm that it is both permissible and healthy to question one’s beliefs, as well as the teachings of others. At the same time, the goal is to encourage thoughtful discussion rather than the automatic rejection of ideas that may not yet be fully understood.

I encourage you to remain open to learning beyond your comfort zone, while also seeking clarity about what you are experiencing and how it aligns with Scripture.

In other words, we must come to a personal understanding of what Scripture teaches, rather than relying solely on what we have been told.
