Thank you to the men and women, and their families, who made the ultimate sacrifice. They chose courage, selflessness, and love for others — reflecting the heart of Christ, who laid down His life for us.

This Sunday we will honor the mothers of Ignite Church with a family service! No separate children’s church so that all of the mothers can sit with their families for worship and word! Join us at The Well at 9:30am!

Paul writes, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit” (ESV). This instruction follows his contrast between walking by the Spirit and gratifying the desires of the flesh, highlighting that the Spirit and sinful nature are opposed to each other. Walking by the Spirit produces the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—while resisting the works of the flesh such as jealousy, anger, and immorality.

What is Black Saturday?
On this day, we grieve and mourn the death of our Savior. At the time of his burial, doubt had washed over believers. Their King had been slain.
Imagine the thoughts racing through the disciples minds, was Jesus really who they had believed he was?

Beaten, mocked, shamed, and humiliated, Jesus did not turn away from the cross. He leaned into it, he accepted a punishment he should have never received.

The Son of God and Man was dead.
