Sunday 6-21-26 Full Sermon - We don't talk about men right. We give them a list of roles- husband, father, provider- and call that masculinity. But what happens when a man walks into those roles empty?
This Father's Day, Brad Knight preached one of the most powerful sermons on manhood we've heard. He went all the way back to Genesis 1- to God hovering over the waters of chaos- to show us what a man is actually supposed to do:
1️⃣ Give shape to the world around you- God took endless possibility and gave it form. That's what men do. Not just "doing," but creating something where there was chaos.
2️⃣ Will the future- A father doesn't just live for today. He sees past the crucifixion to the crown. He carries hope when his children can't. He says, "Trust me. I know where this path leads."
3️⃣ Sacrifice yourself- but meaningfully- Not to chaos. Not because someone demands it. Because you know who you are and what your life is for.
4️⃣ Make choices based on who you're becoming- Start asking "who does this make me?"
"I'd rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in."
If you're a man who's been running on empty, this message is for you. If you know a man who needs to hear this- a son, a husband, a father- share this today.
