Apex UMC We are active servants, giving of our time and talents, within the church, community and world. We are centered in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Join us in our passionate desire to follow Christ so that together we are transformed and prepared to serve as God calls us. With God’s help we are becoming a diverse, multi-generational community so unified by our love for God and one another that others are drawn to become Christ followers. We invite all to join us in our passionate desire to follow Christ so that together we are transformed and prepared to serve as God calls us.

Get ready for spooky season with one of our favorite Postludes of the year! Organist Joette Winberry plays "Toccata in D Minor" by Bach and Friends following Traditional Worship on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Fun note - Joette put this arrangement together herself! We are so grateful for the gifts she shares with our congregation each Sunday in worship at Apex UMC.

Hello and welcome to Apex UMC’s YouTube Channel! Our congregation has been gathering in the greater Apex area since 1870 (we celebrated our sesquicentennial in 2020!!). God has moved in amazing ways over our history and continues to move today.

We are delighted you are here!

We gather on Sunday mornings to encounter God through worship. We offer both traditional United Methodist worship and a more casual, contemporary worship, both of which are livestreamed. We also offer Sunday School, Nursery and Children’s Church on Sunday mornings. You can find worship details here: https://apexumc.org/about/worship/

At Apex UMC our Mission is “to invite and equip all to follow Jesus in transforming the world.” We offer a wide variety of opportunities to connect to Christ and this congregation, and we encourage all to grow in discipleship. We hope you will catch the spirit of this place and its people.

Our Vision: With God’s help we are becoming a diverse, multi-generational community so unified by our love for God and one another that others are drawn to become Christ followers. We are centered in scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We invite all to join us in our passionate desire to follow Christ so that together we are transformed and prepared to serve as God calls us.
