This is the place for the news, events, happenings, hijinks and fiddle faddle from The Peak Youth.

Our hope is this church continues to be a place where people connect to the transforming love of God each week and grow deeper in their journey to become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ. We celebrate what God is doing in and through the people affectionately called “The Peak” and look forward to living the dreams that God has in store for us!

So glad the weather held out! It was such a fun evening. And we are so excited to welcome new 6th graders this summer! Looking forward to House Parties beginning next week.

It’s been an amazing morning celebrating The Peak Youth and being led by them in worship! We are so incredibly grateful as a church for our youth and all the ways they bring life and vitality to our community. So proud of them (all who were here today and all not pictured 😂)!

It was a beautiful 24 hours at camp together! We talked about how to be good news bearers in this world full of bad news. They’ve got it down! Plus they’re pretty good at kayaking and paddle boarding (and starting splash battles). 🛶

Super proud of our girl Aubrey and her big singing role in AFHS’s Mary Poppins! Three more shows to catch her this weekend. Valentine stole the show!

Shoutout to this small but mighty group who came out for our Spring Service Project! We weeded, planted, and rebuilt… and learned a lot of life skills, too. 😁 Thank you, Beth!

Christmas at the Barn was the absolute best! What a gift to be able to gather & eat & play & talk together as we celebrated Christmas and our craziest year yet. Even in the midst of this crazy year, these youth have continued to grow and become more like Jesus in so many ways. Our Youth Team & our church are so proud of these youngins, and so very grateful for their joyful presence in our midst.

So excited for our Christmas Party on Sunday!!! Join us from 6-8 PM and bring a $10 wrapped White Elephant gift!

We’ll have plenty of food, too, so come hungry. 😁

Fall Retreat’21 is in the books! We spent the whole day yesterday wondering together what it means to be blessed & figuring out how to use our privilege and our gifts to be a blessing in this broken world. Aaaaand we had a crazy amount of fun. Can’t wait for our next retreat!
