This week we have talked about Our Foundation and how America began with prayer. We’ve focused on Our Dependence, Our Hope, Our Legacy, and today we focus on Our Assignment. It's time to pray.

DID YOU KNOW?
The Bible gives believers a clear assignment regarding their nation: We are commanded to pray. Regardless of the circumstances around us, God's people are called to intercede for those in authority and to seek His mercy, wisdom, peace, and righteousness. Prayer is not our last resort. Prayer is our first response.

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority..." 1 Timothy 2:1–2

Today's Prayer
Lord, we lift up our nation today. Give wisdom to leaders, peace to our communities, strength to our churches, and hope to every heart. May America turn toward You with humility and faith.

Join us tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. for our America Prays 250 at Living Waters. Together, let's unite in prayer and believe God for another generation of His faithfulness.

DID YOU KNOW?

Every generation inherits both blessings and responsibilities. The freedoms we enjoy today were preserved through sacrifice, courage, and faithfulness. Now it is our turn to leave a spiritual legacy for those who follow us.

Our greatest inheritance is not merely liberty, it is passing faith to the next generation, "One generation shall praise Your works to another..." Psalm 145:4

Let’s do our part to ensure generations to come have the opportunity to know the Lord in the manner we have.

Today's Prayer
Father, strengthen families, churches, and communities to faithfully pass Your truth to children and grandchildren. May future generations know and worship You.

Those prayer movements helped spark renewed faith, transformed communities, inspired missions, and encouraged lives devoted to Christ.

Never underestimate what God can do through people who pray. "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16

Today's Prayer
Lord, begin another awakening in our generation. Let revival begin in our own hearts, our families, our churches, and spread throughout our nation.

George Washington often spoke about the importance of God's providence in the birth and preservation of our nation. After the Revolutionary War, he reminded Americans that national prosperity depended not merely on wealth or military power, but on virtue and God's blessing.

History reminds us, Freedom is a gift, but it must be stewarded with grateful hearts. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." Psalm 127:1

Father, thank You for the freedoms we enjoy. Help us never take them for granted, and may we use them to honor You and serve others.
