The Chapel at Antioch Statement of Faith

GOD: We Believe There is only One God, Creator of All things, The 1st Person of the Godhead. JESUS: We Believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, Savior of the world, Crucified and Resurrected on the third day and was given all power, seated at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for the saints daily. THE HOLY SPIRIT:

We Believe that the Holy Spirit was sent by Christ to be the Comforter to the church so that we know living right in this sinful world would be pleasing unto God the Father, also convicts the sinner of his sin and will lead him into the paths of righteousness, the 3rd Person of the Godhead. THE HOLY TRINITY: We Believe that these three are one God The Father, Son And Holy Ghost! THE BIBLE: We believe that the bible is the infallible written word of God. We Believe All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness according to 2nd Timothy 3:16

SALVATION: We Believe that Salvation is a gift from God the Father made possible to mankind by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus in that he shed His blood on Calvary’s cross and was but rose again on the third day to give Eternal life to all that would put their faith in him. HOLY COMMUNION & BAPTISM: We believe in the Holy Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper and that it gives life to them that partake in them with a repented heart. We believe that communion is to be taken often to remember the Shed blood of Christ and his body, which was broken to pardon our sins. We believe that water baptism is the full immersion of ones body to symbolize the new birth of one that been redeemed from the old sin nature and brought into the body of believers. ETERNITY: We Believe there shall be a resurrection of both the Saved and the Lost, to the Saved there will be everlasting life with God the Father Christ the Son and the Holy Ghost in the place called HEAVEN, and the other to the Lost called Hell where there will be eternal torment weeping and gnashing of teeth with Satan and all that choose to follow after him. MARRIAGE: We Believe from Genesis throughout all eternity the institution of Marriage is ordained by God and in that Marriage consists of ONE MAN BORN MALE to ONE WOMEN BORN FEMALE, for the purpose to fill the earth with Godly children and increase the Family of God.
