Public individuals often get impersonated by scammers. Some of my church members received this text message this morning. This is not my phone number and it's not me. Also, I only use one email address; if you get a strange email from me that is asking for money or personal information, that isn't me either. I never ask anyone for money or information that can be used to impersonate you and scam you and others.
