As the weather begins to warm and many families start visiting more frequently, planting flowers, and refreshing memorials, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of a few important cemetery regulations.
While we respect everyone’s desire to memorialize how they see fit, these rules help us maintain a safe, beautiful, and respectful environment for all who visit while allowing our staff to properly care for the grounds.
Please remember:
• Plantings and flower beds are permitted but must not extend more than 8 - 10 inches in front of the monument.
• Plantings, decorations, and other memorial items are not permitted at foot stones.
• Glass of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere on cemetery grounds.
For the safety of visitors and staff, any glass items found will be removed immediately and without notice. Removed items will be safely stored and made available for pickup.
We understand that decorations and plantings are meaningful ways to honor loved ones, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us balance personal memorialization with the ongoing care and maintenance of the cemetery.
