❄️ Seasonal Decoration Removal Update ❄️

Due to the excessive snowfall this winter, the removal of Christmas decorations—normally scheduled for March 1st—will be delayed this year.

At this time, we do not have a set removal date. We understand how important these items are, and once the snow has melted and conditions allow, we will provide families with additional time to visit and remove decorations if they wish.

We will share an update as soon as a new timeline is established. A sign will also be posted at the entrance no less than one week prior to removal.

Please be sure to like and follow our page for more updates!

Winter Storm Update

Pine Grove is open for visitation. Please use caution as some cemetery roads remain narrow. Snow removal will continue in the coming days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the cleanup process.

❄️ Winter Storm Closure Notice ❄️

With yet another major winter storm expected, the cemetery will close to visitation tomorrow, February 22 at 2:00 PM for the safety of our visitors.

We will reopen once weather conditions have improved and our team has completed snow removal operations to ensure the grounds are safe and accessible.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Please follow our page for updates regarding reopening.

Stay safe and warm.

While winter limits how much work we can do outdoors and you may not see our staff as much, we are still here! Winter is a critical time for us behind the scenes.

The colder months allow our team to focus on maintaining and repairing our equipment and machinery. From routine servicing to more involved repairs, we take this time to inspect, fix, and prepare the tools we rely on every day to care for the cemetery.

Handling this work ourselves is important. It helps ensure our equipment is safe, dependable, and ready when it’s needed most. Preventative maintenance now means fewer breakdowns later, more efficient work during the busy seasons, and less disruption to the grounds and to visiting families.

Winter is about preparation. Every machine we service now helps us be ready to provide consistent, respectful care to the cemetery year-round.

This morning, we experienced an unfortunate incident when a car crashed through our cemetery fence on Mary Street. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, and everyone is safe.

At this time, the damage seems to be confined to the fence and decorations on one burial site. No monuments were damaged in the accident. Repairs will be conducted as soon as the weather allows.

Thank you for your understanding.

Today, we hosted our first Wreaths Across America ceremony at Pine Grove Cemetery, a heartfelt tribute to honor our veterans.

A special thank you to everyone who attended and participated in this meaningful event. Your presence made a significant impact as we laid wreaths to remember and celebrate the courage and sacrifice of those who served our country.

Together, we honored their legacy and ensured they are never forgotten. We look forward to continuing this tradition going forward.

The wreaths have been placed around our flag pole at the entrance of the cemetery and will remain through Christmas.
