Prayer for 2013

Our Father who art in Heaven, we respectfully come before your throne in order to receive your blessings for the New Year that is before us. We would like to thank you for the blessings that You bestowed upon us in the past year and humbly ask You to bless us with favor to fulfill your Will towards others we may come in contact with. We beseech You Father God to bless our immediate family that we become closer and virtuous so that Your Light may shine brighter through us as well as in us. Lord, help us to be patient and kind, slow to anger, as well as understanding to others. Please help to guide our thoughts, minds, and actions to portray Your love to others in order to bring them from darkness into Your light so that they may receive You as their personal Lord and Savior. You have said “Whatever we ask for, in your Name, you would grant unto us,” Lord we rebuke any weapons, diseases, and all things the enemy forms against us. We humbly ask you to forgive us of all our sins that we have perpetrated against you in the past year and ask you to help guide us into becoming distinguished disciples in the year to come. This we ask in your precious name because you are our Ultimate Healer, Provider, Lover of our soul, Counselor, Lawyer and most importantly Lord and Savior.
