Our Garden Ministry (Grace Grows) has been in full swing for the last few months! Our families have been working hard planning and prepping their gardens, planting (and sometimes planting again) as well as weeding with all the rain we have had! It’s been fun learning from each other as well encouraging each other when things aren’t going so well. The group will attend additional classes on Soil Health as well as Healthy Cooking! We already have had some small harvests of strawberries and peppers! It’s also nice to see the kids get involved! Thank you to Grow Appalachia and Jackson County Community Foundation for their generous support of this program! Also, thank you to our friends near and far who have donated to our program!
