The August Prayer Warrior is here!
It was a very busy month here on campus, and we’re so thankful to be a part of what God is doing here in Annville.

This month, we have 2 specific prayer requests, as mentioned in the newsletter!

1. Please pray for staff to continue to focus on reaching the community with the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. It can be easy to get focused on projects and not people.

2. Please pray for our county and for wisdom for us as we seek to minister to their needs, knowing that the greatest need is a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We were thrilled to partner with the Barnabas Home on our “Grace Grows” Garden Program. The boys worked really hard planting the seeds and plants as well as labeling and weeding. One of the residents was so excited to see the fruits of his labor! He shared his harvest with the other residents as well as staff and his new foster family! 💚🙏💚

The Barnabas Home boys and staff participated in a garden program through Grace Covenant Ministries Formerly Jackson County Ministries with support from the Grow Appalachia Program at Berea College.

Grow Appalachia provided the seeds and plants while the boys did the planting, weeding and harvesting with the help of staff.

One of our residents pictured below enjoyed working in the garden and harvesting all of the wonderful vegetables! He loved sharing his harvest with the other residents as well as his new foster family.

July was a wonderful month here at GCM! Our Grace Grows garden ministry is in full swing, and we’re so proud of all of our participating families.

We have quite a few items that were left behind during camp! If you recognize any of these as belonging to your camper, they have been placed in a blue tote outside the pool for pickup. Feel free to stop by and grab them at your convenience.

Soccer Camp was a huge hit! ⚽️ We had an amazing week as our campers learned new soccer skills, played tons of fun games, and made so many great memories together.

As our final camp of the summer comes to an end, we’re going to miss seeing all of our awesome kiddos. More than anything, we’re thankful for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with each child and remind them that He is always with them, both on and off the field.

Thank you to all of our campers, families, and volunteers for making this summer one to remember. Here’s to another incredible summer filled with fun, friendships, and growing in God’s love. We can’t wait to see you all again soon! ❤️
