🤔 The rigors that athletes have to undergo are not meant to make them collapse, but to help them develop strength and staying power.

For the Christian, our trials are not meant to take the strength out of us, but to put the strength into us. Endurance through trials produces strength. -Crosswalk.com-

✨️ Rise and shine! Whatever curveballs life throws your way today, consider them growth opportunities. God is with you in the testing of your faith. Have a faith-filled Friday. ✨️

🤔 The firefly probably doesn’t know how shining its one little light produces a wondrous spark in darkness. It can’t see how its light combines with the lights of its pals to make a summer night beautiful.

As Christians, we have a light to shine. It may not seem grand, or important, or impactful—and maybe, it’s not. But when you do what God calls you to do, when you take on an opportunity He places in your path, it provides light, beauty, and even a bit of wonder to our dark world.

We may never realize how beautiful our light is. We may never see how it impacts others. We may never grasp how it fulfills God’s purpose. But that doesn’t matter. Simply let your light shine today. And if we all do that, it will be quite a show. -Crosswalk.com-

✨️ Good morning. Wake up and embrace the day, let your light shine, and make a difference! Have a blessed Thursday. ✨️

🛐 Heavenly Father, we long to be close to you, but we often find ourselves falling away. Situations, people, and even we are to blame. The exact moment is unclear, but we know the feeling of being apart. We recognize the loneliness and frustration of feeling alone, as if even You, Lord, are not on our side. Please help us to see reality. You never leave us.

Please meet our desperate need for closeness, welcoming us back home like the prodigal son. Let us know we are always loved and forever welcome. Though we often fail You, Lord, You never fail us. Thank You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. -Crosswalk.com-

🤔 Often God chooses to heal! But sometimes He teaches us more and draws us closer when we walk the dark mile of suffering. But to experience such blessing, it is important that we run to God and not away from Him in the midst of the storm.

🛐 Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing my prayers even when answers seem delayed. Help me examine my heart and remove anything that creates distance between us. Strengthen me to persevere in prayer, trusting that You are faithful and good, and that You withhold no good thing from Your children. In Jesus’ name, Amen. -Crosswalk.com-

🛐 Heavenly Father, many of us need healing. We need healing for illnesses, past hurts, and random physical pains that we have allowed to hinder us and interfere with our Spiritual healing. We reach up to You to receive this healing so that we may be whole and that we may be able to then minister to others in a way that brings You fullness of glory.

We ask that You show others Your healing power so that they may also be healed and walk in wholeness. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen! (-Dawn Mast-Crosswalk.com-)

✨️ Good Monday morning! May the Lord's healing touch renew you today, filling you with His peace and strength, rooted in His unconditional and unfailing love. ✨️

🤔 Sin weakened Sampson. His lustful foolishness finally catches up with him, and in a profound example of bad judgment, he discloses the secret of his strength to a woman who had betrayed him repeatedly.

But amid horrible consequences, when Sampson prayed, God still accomplished His purpose by taking down the enemy.

Even if we lose our strength, God's power is made perfect in our weakness to accomplish His purposes (2 Cor. 12:9). -Crosswalk.com-

🤔 The tragic story of Samson should send a strong message to every Christian who has ignored his opportunities to use his God-given abilities (talents) to seek . . . first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Samson chose to waste his life on worldliness and self-indulgence (16:19). In contrast, Moses delivered his people from bo***ge and chose to suffer with them.

Thought for Today: The person who lives to satisfy self cannot fulfill God's purpose for his life. -Crosswalk.com-

🤔 Walking with God is a lifestyle of centering our lives around our relationship with God. When we walk with God, we see situations differently. His perspective shapes our perspective as we pay attention to His presence with us. -Crosswalk.com-

Fasting Lets You Hear the Spirit Unlike Ever Before: When fasting, you can use the time otherwise spent eating, watching TV, or hanging out online, and listen to the Holy Spirit. Fasting isn’t the time for us to talk. It’s time for us to listen, to “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalms 46:10). Fasting helps us focus on the “be still” part. Simply get to a quiet spot, sit in the silence and listen.

You might experience irritation when your stomach growls or your smartphone whispers, “Check out what’s happening on Instagram,” but don’t stay in that mood. Learning to let go will help you focus on the essentials of life and renew a spirit of closeness with God. -Crosswalk.com-

🤔 When we pray, we are asking God to take control. Let’s face it, God already is in control. I don’t know about you, but I try to take that control all the time. Or I try to figure out how to fix things. I want things to go how I think they should go.

So, when we surrender before the Lord, in His presence, we are acknowledging that we don’t have the control that we think we do. And when we really think about it, we don’t actually want it. It’s freeing to know that the Lord has the whole world in His hands. -Crosswalk.com-

🛐 Lord, as I go through my days, facing each of the situations before me, I pray that you give me the strength to be patient as I wait for you to move in every single one. Help me to be brave and courageous when the fear grows strong and the time passes so slowly. Help me to cast fear far away, as I keep my eyes on you in every single situation today. Amen. -Crosswalk.com-

🤔 Waiting isn’t for spiritual wimps, but for those strong of heart. Obeying a “not yet” from God requires true faith. It’s handing over our days and years and months to God, trusting that we won’t regret holding off. It’s believing God’s plan is truly the best plan even when several other enticing options tempt us. It’s deferring what is good for what is best.

There’s the reward of waiting. All the times I’ve ignored God’s “wait” and taken matters into my own hands, a lot of precious time was wasted. But those that wait on Him will experience joy that far surpasses any temporary pleasure that comes with forging ahead alone. -Crosswalk.com-

✨️Good morning! 'I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.' As you wait, may His presence bring you peace. Have a wonderful day.✨️
