Nasb 2020
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Good Friday morning everyone! It’s an end to another week. Time keeps marching on are you working on your relationship with Jesus? Or does Satan have you so distracted with other things that you keep putting it off till tomorrow? Our true power comes from Jesus and His Light that shines within us.
I got to talk to my nephew yesterday Casey Lynn Gable (Hunter Mickler). It was good to slow down and speak with him a minute. I love you nephew and I’m proud of the man you have become! It was a joy to have a conversation with you and hopefully one day we will find the time to hit the golf course together.I’ve been wanting to go play if anyone has room for me! It’s been a while so you will need patience and plenty of time that day because I don’t plan on getting in no hurry and I’ll probably be looking for my ball a lot too! 🤣
Our water heater went out in the church Tuesday. Brother Gary Waters jumped right in there and fixed it Wednesday! We are so thankful to have you brother Gary. I’m also thankful for this church coming together and handling things! Amen! By the time I heard about the water heater that afternoon late Tuesday or it may have even been Wednesday morning the church done pulled together and got things set up to have it fixed. This is something we been preaching on and to see our church family coming together blesses this pastors heart. God is doing something amazing in this church and for this community. It’s happening! What’s happening you may ask??? What God has been telling me from day one since He has allowed me to be appointed to this church. He is gonna build this church to reach this community, then this city, then the county, state, country, world! Hallelujah! We are building His kingdom one brick at a time and it’s all by His will. He has brought us the right people even though we are all a little rough around the edges but that’s the people He wants to use! Amen! That’s who Jesus chose when He came. The rough necks, the outcast, building His church on people that no one else wanted. Keep it up warriors! I love you all so very much at Blue Mountain Baptist Church!!! Keep growing in your faith and stronger in unity and watch God work. This is fun to be apart of! Wooooooooooooooo this isn’t burger king you can’t have it your way this is YAHWEH! COME ON SOMEBODY! WOOOOOOOOOOOO! PLEASE COME AND JOIN THIS MOVEMENT OF GOD AND HELP US DO HIS WILL! IF YOU CANT COME AND HELP WE HAVE A WEBSITE IF THE LORD LAYS IT ON YOUR HEART AT bluemountainbc.org you can find how to donate to this mission. Every dime helps thank you all in advance.
Exodus 19:10-11
10 The Lord also said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and have them wash their garments; 11 and have them ready for the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.
The Lord said to Moses, “God down to the people and consecrate them.” Clean yourselves from all nastiness. The things the flesh desires! Consecrate yourselves to draw closer to God! This is something we will be going over this Sunday if the Lord don’t change my mind between now and then. THE lord calls us to be holy because He is Holy.
Leviticus 11:44–45: "For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy."
Leviticus 19:2: "You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy."
Leviticus 20:7 & 20:26: "Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the LORD your God."
1 Peter 1:15–16 “But just as HE who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.
We are preparing ourselves for the Lords supper! We haven’t partaken in this in a while. The Lord tells me it’s time and we are ready. Praise God! The Lord is gonna be challenging the congregation and me this Sunday! 🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼
