Wow... what an absolutely unforgettable weekend at Kids Camp 2026!

We are officially home, completely exhausted, and our hearts are overflowing!

When you break down the weekend, the numbers speak for themselves:

⏱️ 67 hours of pure fun & community
👦👧 19 kids bringing the highest energy
🙌 9 adults (who definitely deserve a giant nap)
🍕 8 half-adults (our amazing teen helpers & ultimate hype crew!)
🍔 7 meals to keep us fueled up
📖 6 lessons & small group times
🎯 1 purpose
..and the absolute BEST statistic of the entire weekend?

3 SALVATIONS! 🎉
Heaven is rejoicing, and we could not be more thankful!

This weekend was packed with endless memories, countless laughs, and a whole lot of lost sleep—but the fun never stopped. Together, we dove into the Word to discover exactly how Jesus takes the sour "lemons" of life and turns them into something incredibly sweet. We also competed in some wild games and had a blast just hanging out during free time!

To our parents, leaders, and church family: THANK YOU for praying for and investing in these kids!
We already can’t wait for next year! Until then, go get some well-deserved rest and stay tuned... because the official GRBC Kids Camp ‘27 reveal is coming soon!

WACKY WEDNESDAY RECAP:

🔥 FIREPROOF FAITH! 🔥

In our lesson tonight, we dove into Daniel 3 and learned about the incredible courage of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

When King Nebuchadnezzar ordered everyone to bow to a false statue, these three friends stood tall and refused to bend.

Even when thrown into a blazing furnace heated up seven times hotter than usual, they didn't burn.

Why? Because Jesus walked right through the fire with them!

The S'more Connection:
We talked about how a marshmallow has to leave its "comfort zone" in the bag and go through the heat of the fire to change, soften, and become something amazing. In the same way, when we face "fiery" or tough situations in life, God doesn't leave us alone. He uses those moments to test, shape, and strengthen our faith!

Good evening!!! We are so excited about the GRBC Kids Christmas play! The Christmas play will be on December 18th during the Sunday morning service. This year’s play is “A Tree Lot Christmas”. Practice will begin on Wednesday, August 10 at 6:00. Practice will be every Wednesday until the play. There will be some Sunday afternoon practices and a dressed rehearsal. Details about both will come soon. This is a fun and exciting way for children to learn about the true meaning of Christmas and share the gospel. Every child has a place in this play. We would love for you to be a part of our production of “A Tree Lot Christmas”. If you have any questions, please ask myself or Mrs. Kim. Looking forward to a Christ centered Christmas adventure!
