St. Michael & All Angels The Church of St. Michael and All Angels is a national historic landmark founded by John Ward Noble. The church was consecrated on St.

Michael's Day in September, 1890 and maintains an active congregation.

CAMP McDOWELL NIGHT at SAINT MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS, ANNISTON!

On Wednesday, June 3, with special guests Executive Director The Rev. Derrick Hill and his wife Beverly we had a wonderful, wonderful time celebrating the magnificence that is Camp McDowell, our Diocesan Camp and Conference Center otherwise known to many as "God's Backyard."

It was a joyous and informative gathering...and happily stirred up much interest in future happenings in Nauvoo, Alabama.

Thank you, Derrick and Beverly, and to all who participated.

Special thanks to Stacy and Michelle for the delicious dinner...to Hayden for helping put everything together...to Donna for the fine photographs...to George and Charlie for sharing stories of earl(ier) days at Camp McDowell...to generous sponsors within the parish... and to all who participated and made the evening so memorable and fun.

Congratulations to Saint Michael and All Angels parishioner/White Plains High School Senior Bruce Downey, V, whose skill and sportsmanship as a first-rate soccer athlete resulted in his being named to first team All State honors in soccer.

Bruce is number one in the state in class 4A in assists. He is noted as a well-rounded player who keeps his head up, always looking for make goals and passes. This is a very significant recognition, Bruce, and we are proud of you!

During our liturgy on Sunday, we recognized and blessed a wonderful group of high school seniors in our parish, and presented each a small token of our love with prayers for God's blessings and peace as they embark upon new new beginnings.
