Happy Lord’s Day! Our Guatemala mission team is back, and a few of us will be giving testimony this morning of what God did & is doing there. We would love for all our people who can, to gather with us to hear and praise the Lord together, as we should each & every Sunday we are able. Love you all, and thank you to all who helped send, support and pray for us. Glory to God!

Pray for our team as we go to meet the church we’ll be working with this week in an hour. Pastor Matt has been asked to preach at the service tonight. Pray for him and his translator Eduardo, and that their church and our team are all encouraged by God’s word as we worship together.

Here’s a picture of our team (minus Lori, who was prepping back at camp) at the lava fields of the Pacaya volcano earlier today. The ministry we are staying at is in Ricon de Pacaya, which is at the base of this volcano. We are about to travel by van 15 minutes away to Los Delores, the community where we will be working with The Evangelical Church of Jesus the Light of the World. We missed worshipping with our home church this morning. Love you all and glory to God!

Please pray for our Guatemala Mission team. We are in Atlanta at the airport awaiting our flight to Guatemala City. We will be working with Clubhouse Guatemala in the Pacaya region. We’ll be partnering with the Evangelical Church of Jesus the Light of the World and Pastor Walter and his family & church in the Los Delores community. Monday through Friday our projects include building a cinder block home for a family in need, doing home visits to share the love of Christ while providing 2 safe & efficient rocket stove cook tops, 5 clean water filters, & 20 food packs, leading VBS for the kids & doing a 1 night mini men’s conference for the church. Pray the Lord gives us the strength, endurance, safety, love, kindness and power of the Holy Spirit to do this work for his glory in Jesus name.

Join us this Sunday at Church at Oxford Lake! Bring your lawn chair and a side dish or dessert to share. Food can be dropped off after 10:30a under the pavilion on the water, worship starts at 11a, and we will eat right after. The church will provide drinks and chicken tenders. Be sure to stay after the meal to hang out, play co****le, bounce house for the kids, and bring your fishing gear if you’d like. Should be a beautiful day and a great time of fellowship.
