This is the first video I have posted since starting this page. Before you watch it, I thought a basic back story was in order. This is the second thing I ever wrote. The first thing I wrote for video purposes was a concept idea for a friend’s TV show he was doing at the time. He liked it so much, he decided to turn it into an episode for his series.
Over the years of being a Christian, I noticed two primary groups of Christians. The first usually take everything in Scripture at face value, which for the most part is harmless. However, there is a second group of believers who are not satisfied with just following the others in church. Now, I’m not saying one is better than the other. I believe we need in today’s world collectively a body that not only accepts the Word of God but also dig in (Acts 17:11) and diligently seek (Heb. 11:6) for greater mysteries of God (Prov. 25:2). Even though this film does fall short on a certain level, it’s intended purpose is to say it’s ok to strive to seek God in all your ways.
During one of our breaks in filming my friend’s television show, we shot this short two minute film. It stars both myself and my friend, who also directed it. My character is playing role of goofy inquisitor, while Rich plays the more grounded role of mainstream Christianity. By the way, we are drinking root beers in this short. After thought to have been lost for more than ten years, it has been found and you are able to see it for the first time anywhere. I hope you enjoy it.
