Dear Church Family,
After careful consideration and looking at the weather/road conditions, we have decided to cancel our in-person service this Sunday to ensure everyone’s safety.
While we are sad not to gather, I am comforted by Psalm 121:7-
"The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
Please take this time to stay warm, read Scripture at home, and rest in His presence.

Wonderful fellowship at Annetta UMC today! So good to praise God, show love, and connect with one another. This was our first annual Christmas luncheon fellowship and gift exchange, and Pastor Sarah even gave us permission to “steal” during the gift exchange!

The pastor is ill today, so very capable laypersons will be leading worship. Unfortunately, you will not be able to see that. Despite dropping off the church cell phone, FB is apparently infected with whatever the preacher has and is being more useless than usual (FB, not the pastor).

We look forward to resuming our online worship streaming next Sunday.

I met those of our society who had votes in the ensuing election, and advised them (1) to vote, without fee or reward, for the person they judged most worthy; 2) to speak no evil of the person they voted against; and (3) to take care their spirits were not sharpened against those that voted on the other side.
