Congratulations Ethan !!

Celebrating Ethan's Walk! 💙🚶‍♂️
What an incredible day on Sunday, April 26 in Centreville, Maryland! The 3rd Annual Ethan's Walk raised nearly $6,500 for IFOPA—the best event ever! 🎉🙌

A heartfelt thank you to Kimberly Schultes, who organizes this special walk in honor of Ethan Krisman. Kimberly, Ethan's former preschool teacher, has continued to champion this event year after year, bringing the community together to support FOP research and family services. Your dedication means so much! 💛

We're thrilled to announce that Ethan's Walk will return in 2027 (plans in progress)!

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and cheered on this amazing event. Together, we're making a difference for the FOP community. 💙

Enjoy the photo dump of our Council 1384 pilgrimage to the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in DC today.

The Vatican has designated this to be the Jubilee Year of St Francis, the 800th anniversary of his death, and has issued a Decree granting the faithful a plenary indulgence during the Year of Saint Francis.

We started off with breakfast at our Hall, then visited the Monastery, attended Mass lead by our own Fr. Alistair, and walked the Gardens and the Grotto of Lourdes replica.

We broke for lunch, shared a talk with Fr Sidawi, a Holy Land Franciscan & current guardian of the Monastery. Some made confessions and then all wrapped up with a guided tour of the the Upper Church where we saw full-size replicas of the Mount Calvary and Holy Sepulcher shrines in Jerusalem, plus reproductions of the Nazareth Annunciation and Bethlehem Nativity grottos. The tour concluded with a walk through of a reproduction of the catacombs of Rome, where the first Christians met to celebrate the Eucharist..

WOW what a wonderful day to spend with 42 brother Knights and their families, while exploring our faith and history as Christians and Catholics.

Thanks and HUGE kudos to Mike & Maureen Vernon and Steve Hennessy for organizing such an amazing day of fellowship and brotherhood. 👏 👏

And lastly, thanks to Fr Alistair for always being our faithful Chaplain and leading us today through our pilgrimage 🙏 🙏

Kudos to our GK Jim Ryan and Tootsie Roll Chairman/PGK John Paraschak & team for an amazing Tootsie Roll campaign this year. Together with incoming GK Tim Faust and PGK Ray Sears presented GiGi's Playhouse Annapolis Executive Director Pauline Markward and team a check for $6193 !! 👏
It’s days like today that make all of our hard work feel so rewarding. 🙏 ❤️
GREAT job to John P this year, let’s get ready to break our record next year !! 💪

GK Jim Ryan and bingo chair Ray Sears, presented a check to the Friends of the Stanton Ctr /Boys and Girls Club from the proceeds of our weekly CaseyBingo 50/50 raffle for Jan-March 2026 at the City of Annapolis Council Meeting tonight.
Thank you to all of our brother Knights and family members that volunteer every week to make our bingo such a success. It sure is reassuring to know our hard work and time supports those in our communities most in need. 🙏 👏
