On Labor Day, as we give thanks for all who work, serve, teach, build, heal, create, and care for others, let us pray.

Collect for Labor Day, Book of Common Prayer

Almighty God, you have so linked our lives one with another that all we do affects, for good or ill, all other lives: So guide us in the work we do, that we may do it not for self alone, but for the common good; and, as we seek a proper return for our own labor, make us mindful of the rightful aspirations of other workers, and arouse our concern for those who are out of work; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

St. Anne's Foyer Fellowship provided the refreshments after the 10 a.m. service on Sunday. Each group consists of 6-8 people, who take turns meeting at each other's houses for dinner and thoughtful conversation from October through May. Groups are forming for the next program year.

Worship Happens Because of Volunteers

Every Sunday, dedicated parishioners help create a welcoming and meaningful worship experience at St. Anne's. Their service supports gathering for worship, prayer, song, and communion.

As we begin a new Program Year, we invite all who worship with us to prayerfully consider serving at our 8 a.m., 10 a.m., or 5:30 p.m. services.

💧🏃 Holy Water Stop at the Annapolis 10K 🏃💧

Every August, a merry band of St. Anne's parishioners rises before sunrise to prepare the Holy Water Stop for the Annapolis 10K Race.

We are grateful for the volunteers who offered water, encouragement, and hospitality to runners throughout the morning, including our own Kev Hays! A special shout out to Fr. Manoj+ and Mtr. Alice, who blessed racers with holy water as they rounded Church Circle.

Events like the Holy Water Stop remind us that ministry happens beyond our church walls. Through simple acts of welcome and care, we have the opportunity to bless our Annapolis community and invite others to experience the presence of Christ.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13, as we kick off a new program year filled with opportunities to worship, learn, serve, and connect.
