It was with a mixture of deep sorrow and thanksgiving that we remembered the life of our dear sister Betsy Elliott, wife of Leaders and Followers Foundation Board Member Jon Elliott at a beautiful funeral service at Calvary Chapel, Charlotte on Good Friday, April 7, 2023.

Betsy was a tireless servant of Jesus and wonderful encourager and we shall miss her greatly. Please take time to listen to Betsy’s testimony, “that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11 ESV)

We are sad to be writing about the sudden passing of our dear friend, sister, and partner in the work, Betsy Elliott.

All who attended the NPB Gathering in Washington, D.C. in February, and visited “Congressional Suite II” will remember Betsy as the heart and soul of the hosting and hospitality team.

We think of the accounts of Mary and Martha and remember Betsy to be equally devoted, like Martha, to the service of others, while, like Mary, wanting to sit at the feet of her Lord and savior.

We are heartbroken for Jonathan Elliott, Margaret, Emily and Sam, but we rejoice because Betsy will be with the Lord, sitting at his feet – and we also imagine the party…where no doubt Betsy will be itching to serve!
