This past Sunday was a very special and blessed day at Ala o le Atua, not only because it was our very first Aso Sa o le Talalelei.....

During our Holy Communion Worship Service, we proudly recognized four of our young people who, after completing their membership instruction with our Pastor, made their Profession of Faith and were officially received into full communicant membership of our church: Mareh Sopoaga, Melekh Sopoaga, Claire Pyles, and Carl Joseph Sua.

For the first time as official members of the Ekalesia, they joined the congregation at the Lord’s Table and received Holy Communion. What a beautiful milestone in their journey of faith, and a special moment for their families and our entire church family to witness. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

The celebration continued after worship! Instead of our usual cake and ice cream in the social hall to celebrate our September birthdays and anniversaries, one of our newest young members, Claire, and her family graciously treated the entire congregation to a special to’ona’i at one of our favorites, Umai Fusion Buffet! Claire had celebrated her birthday just the day before, making the occasion even more special. 🎂🎉❤️

Congratulations to our four newest communicant members, and a very Happy Birthday to Claire! May God continue to guide each of you as you grow in faith and take your place in the life and fellowship of His church.

A Farewell Filled with Gratitude ❤️🙏🏽

The Sunday before last was a special and bittersweet day for our Ala o le Atua family, as we bid farewell to one of our founding member families, the Lauofo Family — Tiakono Fa'ia, his lovely wife Tiakono Fuarosa, their sweet daughter Alana, and Tina Matua Tiakono Luaiva Telona.

As Tiakono Fuarosa continues her service in the United States Navy, they have PCS'd to their new duty station in Hawaii. While we are sad to see them go, we are incredibly grateful for the role they have played in the foundation and growth of Ala o le Atua.

During worship service, the Lauofo Family was recognized for their faithful service and lasting contributions and presented with Certificates of Legacy & Appreciation and Founding Member Coins — reminders that wherever their journey takes them, they will forever be part of the history and legacy of Ala o le Atua.

Following worship, a special to'ona'i was held in their honor, filled with good food, fellowship, laughter, and love. They were also presented with additional gifts, including a beautiful custom hand-carved wooden commemorative plaque, created especially for the Lauofo Family by Sho AoeluaTattz Aoelua.

Although military duty has called the Lauofo Family to Hawaii, their legacy remains with us. We are deeply grateful for their service, sacrifice, friendship, fellowship, and everything they have contributed to our church family from the very beginning.

May God continue to watch over and richly bless Tiakono Fa'ia, Tiakono Fuarosa, Alana, and Tina Matua Tiakono Luaiva as they begin this next chapter in Hawaii. May He guide them, protect them, and continue to use them wherever He leads.

Once Ala o le Atua, always Ala o le Atua. ❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽

A few weeks ago, before the new school year began, we celebrated our children with a Back 2 School Bash! 🎒📚🎉

There was plenty of food, fun, and games—and, of course, the most important part: fellowship with one another. ❤️

May God continue to bless and watch over all our children as they begin another school year. We pray that each of them has a safe, successful, and blessed year ahead! 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤️

This past Monday, some of us were honored to represent Ala o le Atua and witness the sacred final services for Robert & Margaret Capri, Frank Capri 's beloved parents, as they were laid to rest on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.

A huge fa’afetai lava to Frank & Faamao, and Bob & Wendy, for allowing us to be a part of such a special and intimate moment, and especially for the wonderful fellowship over delicious food and drinks afterward.

May God continue to bless your families tenfold. 🙏🏽♥️🙌🏽

This past Sunday we had the privilege and honor of hosting Rev Bennett & First Lady Fiamamā Muasau of EFKAS Samoa i Texas - Toa o le Talalelei, as part of our Regional Ministerial Exchange (Felaugaina o Faifeau o le Matagaluega o Amerika).

Thanks again Rev Muasau for the beautiful and encouraging message. We thank God most of all for the opportunity to fellowship and break bread with the both of you. May God continue to bless you both abundantly as well as EFKAS Samoa i Texas. 🙏🏽🙏🏽💖💖🙌🏽🙌🏽
