Yesterday Pastor Josh wrapped up the sermon series No Turning Back with a message called Devoted. Mark 8:34-36 says "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For what does it profit a man to to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?"

To deny yourself is to posture yourself in that you are are not the center of attention but that He is. It is not how I choose to live my life, but that I choose to surrender my life and live it the way he calls me to live it. We hope and pray that we can reflect on this word this week and begin to take up our cross daily and fully devote ourselves to him!

For the month of January we will be collecting items to stock up for our upcoming spring outreaches. These are some specific items we are looking for, but any and all donations are welcome! We have been blessed to connect with the community in this way and we thank all who have given of time and resources to bless others!
